Medical center observes Washington’s birthday

In honor of the national observance of George Washington’s birthday, the Eisenhower Army Medical Center (EAMC) personnel will observe a training day Feb. 15, and the federal holiday on Feb. 18.

The medical center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for emergency services and inpatient care, but all Patient Centered Medical Homes, ancillary clinics and pharmacies will close on the federal holiday.

The medical center will conduct training events on Feb. 15. All primary care clinics will offer some same-day appointments, which may be scheduled by calling 706-787-7300.

Appointments may be scheduled or canceled 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at www.TRICAREonline.com.

For medical issues that don’t require emergency care, you may contact your primary care provider through secure message at www.relayhealth.com, or by calling the Nurse Advise Line at 1-800-874-2273, option 1.
