Super Bowl

Valentine’s Getaway

Enjoy a romantic getaway this Valentine’s week at Pointes West Army Resort on Clark’s Hill Lake. Dr. Seuss Fun Run

Get the kids out for the 2019 Dr. Seuss on the Loose 10k/5k run / 1 mile walk on Feb. 9. With fresh air, plenty of laughs to go around and lots of room to exercise, it’s sure to be fun for the whole family! STOMP Workshop

The Exceptional Family Member Program will host a free Specialized Training of Military Parents (STOMP) Workshop Feb. 14-15, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Darling Hall, Room 188C. Dinner Theatre

Fort Gordon Dinner Theatre Production – The Smell of the Kill – is here! Show times are as follows: Feb. 14-16, Feb. 22- 23, and March 1-2. Dinner is at 6:45 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. The Smell of the Kill revolves around Nicky, Debra and Molly who have tolerated one another during once-a-month dinners for years. One thing leads to another, and the women are faced with a life-or-death decision – should they leave the men out in the cold permanently or let them thaw? Butterfly Ball

Shoppette Closure

The Gate 1 Shoppette will be closed through Feb. 8 due to construction. The gas pumps will remain open during that time. The store portion may reopen sooner with limited service if the primary construction work is completed before Feb. 8.

Machine Gun Shoot

Fort Gordon Outdoor Recreation and the Fort Gordon Sportsman’s Club present the 2019 Machine Gun Shoot on Feb. 16, noon to 8 p.m. Come out and watch professional shooters fire amazing weapons; many of which are rare and antique. At dusk, check out the tracer fire. Come enjoy a race with low traffic on Fort Gordon that helps to support our military! The Dare-To-Tri Triathlon on March 23 consists of a 300-meter pool swim, 16K bike ride, and 5K run that takes place completely on Fort Gordon. Knitting Circle

Knit one, purl two! Knitting Circle is here to stay. The group includes every skill level, from brand new knitters to experienced, artisan crafters. Learn from others, exchange ideas, and make new friends. From 20-something Soldiers and spouses, to retirees and grandmothers, the Knitting Circle provides a comforting place to knit your bit. Shooting Class

The Pistol & Rifle Shooting Class is for firearm enthusiasts 12 years of age and up, as well as those interested in firearms.
