GREELEY RECEIVES MEDAL FOR HEROISM


Melony Bagwell / U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence Public Affairs Melony Bagwell / U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence Public Affairs Major General John B. Morrison Jr., commanding general, U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, presents the ROTC Medal for Heroism to freshman and Junior ROTC cadet Graysen Greeley at Hephzibah High School on Nov. 27. Greeley, with the help of his mother and siblings, rescued his elderly neighbor from her burning home. The ROTC Medal for Heroism is the highest United States Department of the Army medal awarded exclusively to Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps cadets. This award is presented to cadets who perform acts of heroism. The acts must involve acceptance of danger or extraordinary responsibilities.
