Education Center gears up for American Education Week

Dr. Reginald Roberson, Ph.D.
Fort Gordon Education Center

American Education Week (AEW) will be celebrated nationwide, Nov. 12 through Nov. 16.

Every year, the Army Continuing Education System (ACES) joins forces with educators from across the country to celebrate excellence in education by hosting kickoff events and activities.

This year’s theme is “Army Continuing Education: A Culture of Learning, A Legacy of Service.”

ACES supports the leader development imperatives of the Army Leader Development Strategy. It also offers a variety of programs to assist Soldiers in establishing and reaching educational goals.

For more information on tuition assistance and ACES programs and services, stop by the Fort Gordon Education Center, and while you are there, ask about the American Education Week celebration.

The Education Center is located in the Command Support Center, Bldg. 35200, 271 Heritage Park Lane.

Learn more about your education benefits by visiting the GoArmyEd Portal at www.GoArmyEd.com.
