Pizza Bowl

Morale Call

Kids Fishing Derby

Bring the littles out to the Kid’s Fishing Derby and Shooting Day with Fort Gordon Outdoor Recreation, Sept. 22. BINGO Palace

You could be a big winner twice this month at Bingo Palace! All winners, Sept. 1-28 during floor games, free games, and regular programs will receive an entry to win one of three $1,000 gift cards. Flea Market, Vendors

Join us for the 2018 Fall Festival Sept. 28-29 on Barton Field. There will be fun kids’ activities, rides, an Oktoberfest night and so much more! Get some pre-holiday shopping done on Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Barton Field. There will be a variety of vendors, from furniture and home goods to crafts and other products. Post 71 Golf Tourney

North Augusta American Legion Post 71 is holding their 10th is at 10 a.m., lunch at 11 a.m., and the tourney will have shotgun start at noon. All proceeds go directly to American Legion Post 71 and allow them to support veterans as well as community and youth programs. Hiring Fair

Fort Gordon Soldier for Life- Transition Assistance Program and Georgia Department of Labor are hosting their annual Fort Gordon Hiring Fair on Oct. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m, at the U.S. Army Reserve Center. More than 60 companies are registered for the event. The event is free and open to all jobseekers. Transitioning Servicemembers and military spouses are highly encouraged to attend. Retiree Appreciation Day

The Fort Gordon Retiree Appreciation Day is scheduled for 8 a.m. Nov. 3 at Darling Hall. Briefings and medical screenings will be available from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. A lunch choice of soup and salad or the taco bar will be served at noon in the Gordon Conference and Catering Center for $10. Unit-Level Flag Football

As part of the Army Sports Program, units form teams to compete on the installation against other units for the right to play in the Post Championship. Units receive Commanders Cup Points for participation and for how well they perform in the end of season playoffs. Units will use Unit-Level play to assist in the determination of their battalion teams for play in the Battalion-Level season. For more information, visit Gordon. armymwr.com.

The Education Services Division The Education Services Division hosts a briefing the second Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon at the Command Support Center, Bldg. 35200, located at 271 Heritage Park Lane. Benefits, financial assistance and incentives, counseling/referral services will be covered. Program is open to current and former Servicemembers with “Honorable” period of service. New Parent Support

New Parent Support has a plethora of programs and events for families with children 4 and under. From playgroups to art session and massage instruction, they help to build the bond between parents and their new family member. Infant Massage

Parents Night Out

Have a night out on the town or watch a movie in a quiet home. Child & Youth Services offers Parents Night Out on select dates each month from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. Children 6 weeks to 17 years must be registered with CYS to participate. Gardening Club

Get your green thumb on point at the Fort Gordon Community Garden Gardening Club. The club meets the fourth Thursday of every month and covers various topics and techniques for expanding and preserving a harvest. Join them at the Woodworth Library across from Barton Field. Knitting Circle

Breastfeeding Support
