Fall Trifecta

Join Gordon Lakes Golf Club for their Fall Trifecta on Saturday. This 27-hole event will be separated into three 9-hole sets of scramble, better ball and select drive alternate shot with two- person teams. Entry fee includes golf cart, range, and hot dog during play, lunch and prizes. Total age of team will determine the flights. Total number of teams will determine how many flights. BINGO Palace

AUSA Breakfast

Morale Call

Vendor applications for the Fall Flea Market on Sept. 29 at Barton Field are now being accepted. Post 71 Golf Tourney

North Augusta American Legion Post 71 is holding their 10th Annual Golf Tournament on 1 at the Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club. Registration is at 10 a. lunch at 11 a.m., and the tourney will have shotgun start at noon. All proceeds go directly to American Legion Post 71 and allow them to support veterans as well as community and youth programs. Retiree Appreciation Day

The Fort Gordon Retiree Appreciation Day is scheduled for 8 a.m. Nov. 3 at Darling Hall. Briefings and medical screenings will be available from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. A lunch choice of soup and salad or the taco bar will be served at noon in the Gordon Conference and Catering Center for $10. Unit-Level Flag Football

As part of the Army Sports Program, units form teams to compete on the installation against other units for the right to play in the Post Championship. Units receive Commanders

Cup Points for participation and for how well they perform in the end of season playoffs. Units will use Unit-Level play to assist in the determination of their battalion teams for play in the Battalion-Level season. For more information, visit Gordon. armymwr.com.

Troops to Teachers

The Education Services Division hosts a briefing the second Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon at the Command Support Center,

Program is open to current and former Servicemembers with “Honorable” period of service. Infant Massage

Bond with your baby and learn to soothe them during rough nights with a quick massage. New Parent Support is hosting infant massage instructional classes at the Family Outreach Center. For dates and to register, call (706)791-5220.

Parents Night Out

Have a night out on the town or watch a movie in a quiet home. Child & Youth Services offers Parents Night Out on select dates each month from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. Children 6 weeks to 17 years must be registered with CYS to participate. Gardening Club

Get your green thumb on point at the Fort Gordon Community Garden Gardening Club. The club meets the fourth Thursday of every month and covers various topics and techniques for expanding and preserving a harvest. Join them at the Woodworth Library across from Barton Field. Knitting Circle

Join the Knitting Circle every Saturday at the Woodworth Consolidated Library from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Learn new knitting patterns, tricks to get that perfect purl and make new friends in the process. For more information and to register, call (706)791-7323.

Breastfeeding Support

Gordon Lakes Golf

Attention to all Gordon Lakes Golf Club members! When you refer a friend who becomes a Gordon Lakes Golf Club Member, you will receive a $50 Gift Certificate for the Gordon Lakes Pro-Shop. Horse stable volunteers 

Sign up for the Hilltop RidingStables volunteer class. This will teach you what you need to begin volunteering at the stables and the skills to care for horses. The class will be held Saturdays and Sundays and is open to ages 14 and older. For more information or to sign up, call (706)791-4864.

New Parent Support

Join New Parent Support for different fun and family-centered activities. This event is open to families with children 0-4 years old (older siblings welcome). New Parent Support has prenatal and postpartum yoga groups. For more information on dates and times, call (706)791-5220.
