Create With Me

ACS is hosting a “Create With Me” series of workshops with the Morris Museum of Art in Downtown Augusta. Workshops help kids become interested in the amazing world of art and creating. 35th MP FRG

Theatre auditions

Paint Party for Mom

Armed Forces Day

Family Game Night

SFL-TAP services

The Soldier For Life – Transition Assistance Program office will relocate to Bldg. 33800 near Chamberlain and Rice Road starting May 24. SFL-TAP services will resume June 1 at Bldg. 33800, 550 Rice Road. Servicemembers scheduled for capstone appointments May 24-31 should continue to report to Bldg. 28510. The scheduled VA Benefits I and II class for May 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. has been move to TADSS TA-16 on 12th Street, Bldg. 81101 (behind 35th ESB motor pool). Kid’s Fishing Derby

Gardening Club

Get your green thumb on point at the Fort Gordon Community Garden Gardening Club. The club meets the fourth Thursday of every month and covers various topics and techniques for expanding and preserving a harvest. Join them at the Woodworth Library across from Barton Field. Knitting Circle

Kids Golf

Gordon Lakes has Junior Golf Instruction available for a limited time. Sign up players by May 30 for one of two 75-minute sessions of golf instruction for juniors. First session each week is from 8:30 - 9:45 a.m. for 6-10-year-olds. The second session each week is from 10 - 11:15 a.m. for 11-15-year-olds. Horse Riding

Hilltop Riding Stables has a Horse Camp May 29 through Aug. 3. Young equestrians will learn how to care for and ride horses, as well as, anatomy, health and more. Change of Command

The 67th Expeditionary Signal Battalion will hold a change of command ceremony at 9 a.m. June 22 in front of Saltzman Hall and Allen Hall. Lt. Col. Kathleen S. Cage will relinquish command to Lt. Col. Trey O. Matchin. If inclement weather, ceremony will move into the Cyber Fitness Center.

Parents Night Out

Have a night out on the town or watch a movie in a quiet home. Child & Youth Services offers Parents Night Out on select dates each month from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. Children 6 weeks to 17 years must be registered with CYS to participate. New Parent Support

Join New Parent Support for different fun and family-centered activities. This event is open to families with children 0-4 years old (older siblings welcome). New Parent Support has Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga groups. For more information on dates and times, call (706)791-5220.

Morale Call

Join us for food and fun at Heroes Sports Bar inside Gordon Lanes Bowling Center. Morale Call is every month on the third Friday. There will be delicious finger foods from our very own Kegler’s Cafe, as well as live music from DJ Tony Howard. Breastfeeding Support
