Tag Office

For a 30-day trial period at Darling Hall, the Richmond County Tax Commissioner’s Office, Motor Vehicle Registration Division, will provide services such as general motor vehicle inquiries, vehicle registration, tag renewals and cancellations, handicap placards, title transfers and insurance issues to service members, civilians, anyone who only reside in Richmond County. Fort Gordon is switching to a new online system, iSportsman, that allows users to purchase permits for hunting, fishing, outdoor recreation and harvesting of forest products from a desktop computer or mobile device. Users will also use this program to check in and out of any recreation activities conducted in the Range Training Area Complex. To begin using the new program, visit https://ftgordon.isportsman.net to register and create an iSportsman profile.

Outdoor Pool

The Outdoor Pool and Spray Park are open. Season passes are available for purchase at the pool during normal business hours. Lap swim hours are 6 to 8 a.m., Monday through Friday. No unit PT reservations. Starting Monday, Recreation Swim includes Thursdays and Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m. for at the Outdoor Pool, in addition to weekend hours, Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m. This will continue until the last day of the season, which is Sept. 4. Flag Football

Unit Level Co-ed Flag Football coaches meeting is scheduled at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Sports Division office. Mandatory signed MOI is required by Thursday. For more information, email neil.j.smith.naf@mail.mil or call (706)831-6536. Registration ends Thursday.

CYS sports coaches

Photo studio hours

The photo studio, located in building 40709, has a walk-in photo studio for command and DA photos available on first come, first served basis during the hours of 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 4 p.m. All other DA photos must be scheduled. Substance Abuse

Fort Gordon ASAP is offering two one-hour presentations for Soldiers monthly at Alexander Hall through fiscal year 2018. This assists units in completing the yearly mandate of four hours for substance abuse training. Sign-in rosters will be available at each training and Soldiers will have to sign in to get credit for attendance. Lunch workout

Get a quick sweat on during lunch at Cyber Fitness Center. The 30-minute full body bootcamp workout is held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from noon to 12:30 p.m. For more details, call (706)791-7370.

Knitting group

The Knitting Circle at the Woodworth Consolidated Library meets Saturdays 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Learn new techniques or share your knowledge and stories. For more details, call (706)791-0396.

Catholic women

The Center Chaplain’s Office sponsors the Catholic Women of the Chapel at Good Shepherd Chapel on Barnes Avenue on the first Friday of the month starting with the Rosary at 5:45 p.m., then Mass and dinner afterward. Protestant women

The Center Chaplain’s Office sponsors the Protestant Women of the Chapel. The PWOC’s fall groups will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Center Chaplain’s Office, Bldg. 29601 on Barnes Avenue, and 9:30 a.m. Thursdays at the Religious Education Center, Bldg. 13. Single service members

BOSS HQ is open for single service members to come and relax. There are several televisions to watch your favorite shows or put on the latest news, game, or movie in the theater room. Quest through the lands of Hyrule on the way to save Princess Zelda or simply find a nice corner to take a nap. Horse Boarding

EFMP parent info

Exceptional Family Member Program has their Parent Information Exchange on the third Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and the third Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon at the Family Outreach Center, Bldg. 33512 ( behind Woodworth Library).
