Tag Office

For a 30-day trial period at Darling Hall, the Richmond County Tax Commissioner’s Office, Motor Vehicle Registration Division, will provide services such as general motor vehicle inquiries, vehicle registration, tag renewals and cancellations, handicap placards, title transfers and insurance issues to service members, civilians, anyone who only reside in Richmond County. iSportsman

Fort Gordon is switching to a new online system, iSportsman, that allows users to purchase permits for hunting, fishing, outdoor recreation and harvesting of forest products from a desktop computer or mobile device. Users will also use this program to check in and out of any recreation activities conducted in the Range Training Area Complex. To begin using the new program, visit https://ftgordon.isportsman.net to register and create an iSportsman profile.


Intramural Sports

Men’s and Women’s battalion flag football leagues will start in August. Coaches meeting is at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Sports Office Bldg. 24501. Participants must have a signed memorandum of intent by July 20.

Outdoor Pool

The Outdoor Pool and Spray park are open. Season passes are available for purchase at the pool during normal business hours. Lap swim hours are 5:30 to 8 a.m., Monday through Friday. No unit PT reservations. For more information, call (706) 791-3034.

MVIC studio hours

The Multimedia Visual Information Center, located in building 40709, has a Walk-in photo studio for command and DA photos available on first come, first served, during the hours of 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 4 p.m. All other DA photos must be scheduled. Christmas House

Celebrating 51 years of assisting military families in financial need during the holiday season, the Christmas House has donation boxes for unwrapped toys for boys and girls located at the Main Exchange, Dwight. D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, and in Evans, Ga., at Moe’s Southwest Grill, located at Mullins Crossing Shopping Center, 4239 Washington Road, during the month of July. In conjunction, the Moe’s Southwest Grill location will donate 20 percent of receipt purchases made during 3 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays in July. For more information, email fgchfunds@gmail.com.

Scholarship

The Adolphus Greely Chapter of the Signal Corps Regimental Association in partnership with First Command Financial Services is taking applications for the $1,000 Lieutenant General Robert J. Donahue Memorial Scholarship. Lunch workout

Catholic women

The Center Chaplain’s Office sponsors the Catholic Women of the Chapel at Good Shepherd Chapel on Barnes Avenue on the first Friday of the month starting with the Rosary at 5:45 p.m., then Mass and dinner afterward. Protestant women

The Center Chaplain’s Office sponsors the Protestant Women of the Chapel. The PWOC’s fall groups will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Center Chaplain’s Office, Bldg. 29601 on Barnes Avenue, and 9:30 a.m. Thursdays at the Religious Education Center, Bldg. 13. Knitting group

Single service members

BOSS HQ is open for Single Service members to come and relax. There are several televisions to watch your favorite shows or put on the latest news, game, or movie in the theater room. Quest through the lands of Hyrule on the way to save Princess Zelda or simply find a nice corner to take a nap.
