Debt notice

Lunch workout

Get a quick sweat on during lunch at Cyber Fitness Center. The 30-minute full body bootcamp workout is held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 12:30 pm. For more details, call (706)791-7370.

Substance abuse clinic

Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care team will be in two locations, co-located with the Community Behavioral Health Services team in Building #329 Central Hospital Road, and the Outpatient Behavioral Health Services Team team on the 13th floor of DDEAMC. All staff phone numbers will remain the same. The SUDCC Main Treatment Clinic will be in Building #329. SUDCC front desk number is (706)787-5392, (706)787-3673. Appointments and cancellations should use the main number to ensure best access to care, to avoid confusion and no-shows. SUDCC Clinical Director Elizabeth Pollock and Tatjana Raycroft will be co-located with the OBHS at DDEAMC. Intake and individual appointments with Pollock and Raycroft will be held at DDEAMC. Providers direct lines remain the same. The OBHS front desk number is (706)787-8134 for patient appointments.

Catholic women

The Center Chaplain’s Office sponsors the Catholic Wome n of the Chapel at Good Shepherd Chapel on Barnes Avenue on the first Friday of the month starting with the Rosary at 5:45 p.m., then Mass and dinner afterward. Protestant women

The Center Chaplain’s Office sponsors the Protestant Women of the Chapel. The PWOC’s fall groups will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Center Chaplain’s Office, Bldg. 29601 on Barnes Avenue, and 9:30 a.m. Thursdays at the Religious Education Center, Bldg. 13. Knitting group

The Knitting Circle at the Woodworth Consolidated Library meet Saturdays 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Learn new techniques or share your knowledge and stories. For more details, call (706)791-0396.

Community Garden

The Fort Gordon Community Garden opens March 1. Be prepared by purchasing your 9’ x 9’ plot any time after Feb. 1. Each plot can be leased for the season for $40. For full details visit, www.fortgordon.com.

Horse Stables

Fitness Center hours

Gordon Fitness Center has new hours beginning in January. They will be open Monday to Friday, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more details, call (706) 791- 1662.


Range Safety Briefs

Range Safety Briefs resume regular schedule for 2017. In accordance with the USACyberCoE&FG Regulation 350-19, safety briefs will be conducted each second and fourth Thursday of the calendar month at 0900. Unit S-3s are required to submit memorandums to the Range Control Office by 4 p.m. “Tuesday prior to the following Thursday’s class.” Memorandums must be signed by a battalion commander or higher and can be submitted electronically or delivered to Range Control in hard-copy. Briefings are designed for NCOs, sergeant and above, and officers, who will fill the positions as officer-in-charge or range safety officer on live fire ranges and training areas.
