Airstrike Jump

The 707th Military Intelligence Battalion, representing the Augusta Master Chapter of the Military Intelligence Corps Association, is hosting a Jump for Intelligence today from 3 to 6 p.m. at the AirStrike trampoline facility located at 1249 Augusta West Parkway. Machine Gun Shoot

Join Outdoor Recreation Saturday for a day of shooting at the Machine Gun Fun Shoot. There will be a viewing from vintage WWI to modern .50 caliber machine gun and automatic firearms, they will be additionally shooting tracer rounds. The free event will have concessions available. Fort Gordon Dinner Theatre is looking for actors for their upcoming production of Beth Henley’s Crimes of the Heart. Shooting Class

Fort Gordon Outdoor Recreation has the perfect Pistol & Rifle Class to help introduce yourself to shooting or to improve your shot. Golf Scramble

The 707th Military Intelligence Battalion, representing the Augusta Master Chapter of the Military Intelligence Corps Association, is hosting a golf scramble March 3 at the Goshen Plantation Golf Course located at 1601 Goshen Clubhouse Drive, Augusta Ga. 30906. Father Daughter dance

The 2017 Spring Father Daughter Butterfly Ball will be held at Gordon’s Conference and Catering March 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets sales begin Monday through March 2. Free dentures

Fort Gordon Prosthodontic Residency Program is looking for denture patients (no teeth remaining in the upper or lower jaws). Participants must have a valid military ID card (family member or retired). Bring a list of all medications taken. The staff prosthodontists will consider if individuals are qualified for the purposes of residency training. If selected, patients will receive a new set of dentures at no cost, with a limited amount of follow-up care. Over-30 Basketball League

If you have some basketball skills, are 30 or over and want to get social and active, this basketball league is just the thing for you. Auto Classes

Free automotive classes are available to all military, retirees, spouses, family members and DoD civilians. Dependents must be age 16 and older. Classes are on an introductory level and are intended to familiarize individuals with various car problems such as brake and tire inspection, AC system and other common problems. Morale Call

Employer Panel

Employment Readiness is looking for some military spouse (volunteers) who would like to participate on an employer panel with keynote speakers, June 21 from 9 .am. until 2 p.m. One of the requirement is that they would prefer a spouse who has been employed within the last year. If interested in the opportunity to provide effective feedback on employment trends and opportunities, this is a great chance. I will need a firm commitment as the panel includes many key leaders.

Fort Gordon Recycling’s Second

Quarter Challenge runs through Mar. 31. The Unit with the heaviest weight of cardboard will win $500 towards their unit funds. If you need recycling bins for your office or other necessities to make your recycling easier, contact Fort Gordon Recycling at 706-791-7881.

Horse Stable volunteers

Sign up for the Hilltop Riding Stables volunteer class. This will teach you all you need to begin volunteering at the stables and the skills to care for horses. The class will be held Saturdays and Sundays and is open to ages 14 and up. For more information or to sign up, call (706) 791-4864.

Free golf lessons

The “Hook a Soldier” golf program is a great opportunity for Soldiers and their families to pick up a relaxing and healthy habit. Every Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Gordon Lakes Golf Club will host free one-hour golf lessons. No reservations are required. Golf lessons are open to active duty and family members. Water aerobics

Free water aerobics classes are offered each third Saturday of the month at 9 a.m. for 45 minutes at the Indoor Pool. Authorized ID card users are allowed to bring two guests. Registration is not needed. For more information, call (706) 791-3034.
